The Medical Scholarship Fund of Monroe County
Since 1970, the Medical Scholarship Fund of Monroe County has been attracting qualified and highly talented candidates to the Rochester medical community.
Year after year, we aim to offset the ever increasing cost associated with the highest levels of medical training. Our foundation enriches the lives and futures of students by granting four scholarships each year.
Partnering with the University of Rochester and now LECOM, we have seen over two-hundred graduates benefit from tuition assistance and open doors into Rochester’s vibrant medical community and beyond.
Our Mission
The Medical Scholarship Fund of Monroe County was developed to award UR and LECOM Medical School students with scholarships to help offset tuition costs. Our goal is to decrease debt and to continue encouraging students to consider a rewarding medical career in Rochester, NY.
