Imani N. Miles, MD

Imani N. Miles, MD was born in New Orleans, LA.

As a child, her grandmother, Pecolia, taught her the importance of serving those in need. She grew up watching her grandmother volunteer her time with church groups and at a local nursing home in the community. Watching her grandmother selflessly serve others is what drew her to the medical field.

Dr. Miles attended Xavier University of Louisiana and received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology. While in college, she helped serve those in need in the Greater New Orleans area by setting up community service events with one of the clubs at her college, The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS).

After college, she attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and received her Doctor of Medicine. In medical school, she continued to serve those in her community with one of her school's groups, The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) by setting up community service events in the Greater Rochester area. After receiving her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, she began her residency in a combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics program at the University of Rochester. In her free time she enjoys mentoring medical students, cooking and baking, and spending time with family and friends.
